As the days pass from one to the next it seems that old man winter just will not let go, and give spring a chance. With the weather being like this it makes calving a little more difficult for all the ranchers with their calving season. I manage to take my grandkids out to see some new calves and they were quite delighted to see and pet them. But my youngest grandson though the calf was not good enough to see and pet. So off he went towards the momma. She looked at him with a look as to what in the world is this coming at me. She was a good heifer. We sure let our grandson know that he just can’t walk up to a heifer. Of course the question, then, came up, why…and….why.
Seeing the new baby, gives us hope in this world with all what is going on. We are so blessed to be able to have this in our lives, and to be able to go out and see this.
We all need to Look around and see what is in our lives and be happy and grateful no matter how small this may be. I would say go out and give a hug…but we can’t do this right now so give them a wave and blow a kiss!
