Well this week has been quite exciting for me. I learned on Tuesday morning that I was accepted in the Route 22 Gallery in Cochrane Alberta. Then they wanted my work in by Friday the 10th. I was kind of freaking out because I needed to have 3 of them framed up. This usually takes 2 weeks or more. Boy did I have to do some fast talking with my framer. She was great and we went with what was just in stock. I have my framing done at 17th Avenue Framing.

And if you have one of my prints that need framing take it there they will give you 15% off just let them know that the work is mine.
I submitted 5 prints of my work and all 5 were accepted. I was very surprised by this. I am still working on me believing in myself. “I am sometimes to tough on myself!” With the Calgary Stampede being cancelled this year, after I had 4 prints accepted, was very disheartening. I was disappointed that I could not show off my work for everyone to enjoy. Having 5 prints going into the gallery for a full month, that put a smile on my face. For the next 3 Wednesday, I will be there at the gallery, so come on down and say Hi!
This place has beautiful work form various artists from paintings, drawings, clay work, sculptures and many more beautiful things. I am so honored to be part of this elite group of artists.
