I was in the Williams Creek area when I took this photo, and I remember the moment vividly. I was sitting on the ground, completely at peace, surrounded by the beauty of wild horses—totally lost in the moment and in harmony with them.
Then, I looked to my left and saw White Spirit emerge silently from the forest. He stopped and looked directly at me. I was completely mesmerized. I slowly raised my camera to capture the shot, but at that exact moment, he turned away. I thought I had missed something truly special.
But when I got home and looked at the image, I was overwhelmed. Somehow, I had captured something even more powerful. There’s a presence about him—so strong that no words are needed.
I call this print "Ghost in the Trees."
